Rwanda plan: UK paid Rwanda an extra £100m for asylum deal

The government has spent a further £100m in the 2023-24 financial year on the Rwanda asylum plan while flights remained grounded amid a series of legal setbacks.

This payment was made on top of the £140m previously paid out – as Sky’s Tamara Cohen reports.
