Rwanda: ”We have got the balance right’, says deputy PM Oliver Dowden

Deputy PM Oliver Dowden says Rishi Sunak was “absolutely right to issue this warning” after he made comments that migrants could “overwhelm” Europe.

The prime minister made the remark during a right-wing event in Italy on Saturday, claiming “enemies” could use immigration as a “weapon” by “deliberately driving people to our shores to try to destabilise our society”.
