South Korea deepfakes: New law bans use of AI technology

South Korea is enforcing a new law banning the use of artificial intelligence generated deepfake videos in election campaigns.
Those who violate the legislation could face up to seven years in prison.
The rule aims to prevent the spread of disinformation – a growing concern in a year of elections around the globe.
