Southern Gaza operation Israel expanding operations around Khan Younis

21,672 Palestinians have now been killed in Gaza since the war began. Israeli warplanes carried out intense airstrikes on Khan Younis. Israel’s military says it is expanding operations there to target Hamas fighters. But many civilians have been killed.
