Spanish government promises €10.6 billion in aid as flood victims call out slow response | DW News

Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced a relief package worth €10.6 billion to help the survivors of the flash floods that have killed more than 200 people.

In Valencia, there has been a growing outpouring of solidarity to help those affected by the disaster.

Thousands have volunteered to help cleaning up after the devastion and provide the affected people with food, water and other essential supplies.
