The Sun newspaper backs Labour in new blow to Conservatives | General Election 2024

Farming minister Mark Spencer says his party is unconcerned by news that Rupert Murdoch’s
Sun newspaper is backing Labour for the first time in nearly 20 years.

The paper said it was “time for a new manager”.

Mr Spencer pointed out the Daily Mail and The Daily Telegraph are still backing the Tories.
