When Slobodan Simić saw donkeys being abused back in the early 1990s, he was so upset that he bought them all. He then set up the Zasavica donkey reserve in North Serbia and made it their new home.
Then, he had a Eureka moment. He came up with an idea – an admittedly unusual idea – to milk the donkeys to produce cheese.
Slobodan uses the profits from the sale of pule to continue rescuing donkeys, which now number 300.
But @evazubeck soon finds out why the donkey cheese costs so much.
