Truce deal would spare Palestinians: Palestinian Authority

The president of the Palestinian Authority is urging Hamas to speed up an exchange of captives held in Gaza for prisoners in Israel jails.
Mahmoud Abbas said it would spare Palestinians from more devastating attacks, and a possible Israeli ground offensive in Rafah.
