Turkiye elections: Candidates court Kurdish voters

Sunday is local election day in Turkiye when voters choose Mayors and local council members.
The country has the region’s largest Kurdish population, at nearly 15 million.

As Al Jazeera’s Sinem Koseoglu reports from the southeast city of Diyarbakir, votes in the largely conservative community, are highly sought-after.
