Ukraine Invasion: Fears ‘worst is yet to come’ in Putin’s war

Reports from France say Vladimir Putin told France’s President Macron he planned to take the whole of Ukraine. Officials say they believe the “worst is yet to come”.

In a telephone conversation between the two leaders, it was reported Macron told Putin he was “deluded”.

Russia has expanded its crackdown on independent media in the country, ensuring Russians only receive one narrative of what the war is about and how it is going.
