Ukraine update: Several killed in Russian missile strikes on Kyiv and Kharkiv | DW News

Ukrainian officials have reported an overnight Russian missile attack targeting Ukraine’s two largest cities, Kyiv and Kharkiv. At least four people have been killed and several injured. Ukrainian officials have warned residents of Kyiv to take shelter as Serhiy Popko, head of Kyiv’s military administration, said air defense systems were engaged in repelling a fresh Russian missile attack. Other attacks were reported in Kharkiv to the northeast, where officials said people were trapped in a collapsed building. Meanwhile, an international group of Ukraine’s military supporters are meeting amid a hang-up in US funding.
