Ukraine War: UK and US intelligence chiefs say Putin being ‘misled’ by generals

British and American intelligence bosses have said Vladimir Putin was misled by his own military chiefs about the war in Ukraine.

Sir Jeremy Fleming, the head of GCHQ, said demoralised Russian soldiers in Ukraine have accidentally shot down their own aircraft, sabotaged their own kit and refused to carry out orders.

And the head of the UK military, Sir Tony Radakin, said Putin had already effectively lost the war.
