UN General Assembly adopts resolution demanding ‘humanitarian truce’ | DW News

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) overwhelmingly adopted late on Friday a non-binding resolution demanding an “immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce” in Gaza. The resolution was put forth by Arab countries. One hundred and twenty countries voted in favor. Fourteen countries were against, including Israel and the United States. Forty-five countries abstained, including Germany.
