US destroys six Houthi anti-ship cruise missiles in Yemen

US Central Command says it has destroyed six anti-ship cruise missiles in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

The missiles presented an imminent threat to US navy ships and merchant missiles in the region, CENTCOM said.

The US forces conducted the “self defence” strikes at about 7.20pm local time.
