The US has given Israel one month to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza, or risk having its US military aid curtailed. It’s the strongest warning from US officials since the war in the Palestinian territory was sparked by Hamas terror attacks a year ago. Israel says its operations in northern Gaza are necessary, claiming Hamas militants have regrouped there. It’s warned civilians to move from the line of fire, but Gazans say nowhere is safe.
