US vice president Kamala Harris demands ‘immediate ceasefire’ in Gaza | Israel – Hamas war

Israel is coming under intense political pressure from its main ally the United States, amid growing signs that the White House is losing patience with Benyamin Netanyahu.

His main political rival, Benny Gantz, has gone to Washington DC for key talks – after Vice-President Kamala Harris said there must be an “immediate ceasefire” for at least six weeks and more humanitarian aid must be let in – “no excuses”.
