Video shows moments following shooting of Slovakia’s prime minister

Slovakia’s populist prime minster Robert Fico has been shot and injured.

Video filmed at the scene shows the moments following the assassination attempt.

Witnesses said four shots were fired, and Mr Fico was hit in the stomach.

A suspect has been detained.

Mr Fico has been accused of moving Slovakia towards Russia and away from the West, and of supporting Moscow in the war against Ukraine.
