‘What an utterly bizarre event’ – Reaction to PM’s Rwanda statement

Sky’s Sam Coates reacts to Rishi Sunak’s conference on the Rwanda bill, describing it as an “utterly bizarre event”.

“The prime minister held a press conference in order to lecture the House of Lords on their need to pass the Rwanda bill”, he goes on to say.

In his speech, Mr Sunak called on the Lords to pass the legislation as it is an “urgent national priority”.
