British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is in Germany for discussions with Chancellor Olaf Scholz. It’s his first bilateral trip since taking office last month. His visit is focused on resetting post-Brexit relations between the UK and Germany. The two countries want to strengthen economic ties, improve defense cooperation, and address migration challenges. Scholz and Starmer say they have agreed to work on a new security and defense treaty, which will take several months to finalize.
