President Joe Biden has put a halt on the issuing of new LNG export permits. The White House says it will help limit costs to American households and protect the environment. But there is concern in Europe countries that it’ll threaten their energy security. They’ve become increasingly reliant on US LNG since ending imports of Russian pipeline gas.
