Israel is again hitting targets in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, which has become the new focus of the war. The US blocked a United Nations bid for a ceasefire in the war against Hamas – considered a terrorist group by multiple countries.
The Hamas-controlled Health Ministry says more than 17,000 people have been killed in Israel’s two-month military campaign. And the UN is warning humanitarian support in Gaza faces total collapse.
