Ahead of the Munich Security Conference Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Berlin to sign a security pact with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The Ukrainian President’s trip comes hard on the heels of Chancellor Scholz’s recent commitment to step up ammunition production for Kyiv’s efforts to repel Russia’s invasion. But with the US and other allies struggling to fulfil their promises of military supplies, Ukraine is having to become more resourceful in building weapons for the battlefield.
